In the 32-second long video, snow can be seen falling down from the mountain behind the Kedarnath temple. People feared the 2013 Kedarnath tragedy after the avalanche was reported.
Talking about the incident, Mayur Dixit, District Magistrate Rudraprayag, said, “On September 22, between 4 and 5 pm, an avalanche was reported on the Charabari Glacier, following which people living in Kedarnath Dham were alerted. However, no casualties have been reported.”
