The Bhuj Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday seized three Pakistani fishing boats from the Harami Nala creek area in Gujarat’s Kutch district. The creek lies along the India-Pakistan maritime boundary in Gujarat.

According to the officials, the troops noticed the movement of the boats during a patrol and immediately rushed to seize them. The Pakistani fishermen saw the BSF troops approaching and escaped, leaving their boats behind.

A search operation is underway to find the fishermen.

Meanwhile, the seized boats were thoroughly searched and nothing suspicious was recovered from them except for some fish and fishing equipment.

Earlier on April 4 too, the BSF had seized a Pakistani fishing boat from the same creek.
