Two girls who went missing from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh were traced and reunited with their families by the Delhi Police within four hours after receiving the information.

In a quick response by the Delhi Police, two girls who went missing from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh were traced and reunited with their families within four hours after receiving the information.
On the intervening night of July 21-22, DCP Outer Delhi had received information from a senior officer in Pune, regarding a woman named Rani Rajput, who had gone missing from Maharashtra and that her location had been tracked in Nagloi. Accordingly, dedicated teams were formed to trace the missing woman, a resident of Jabalpur, MP.
After hours of patrolling, police finally traced Rani in Veena Enclave, Nangloi, Delhi, who was found with another girl named Narmada, a resident of Saradpur, MP.

It was found that Rani had gone missing from Kanhan, Nagpur, Maharashtra on June 26 while Narmada had been untraceable from Devpalpur, Indore, MP since July 18.
During questioning, the duo revealed that they had reached Delhi with their friend, Lucky, and were residing in Veena Enclave for the last two days.
A medical examination of the duo was conducted, following which they were sent to Nirmal Chaya Complex, Jail Road, Delhi. Subsequently, information was passed to Kanhan and to Devpalpur police stations for further necessary action.
While Narmada was handed over to his father and police officials of PS Devpalpur, Rani was handed over to the police officials from Police station Kanhan, from Nirmal Chaya Complex. A case has also been registered against the house owner where the girls were staying.
