President Kovind to visit UP’s Banke Bihari Temple

President Ram Nath Kovind is expected to visit Uttar Pradesh’s Banke Bihari Temple before his term ends in July.

President Ramnath Kovind is expected to visit Uttar Pradesh’s Banke Bihari Temple before his tenure comes to an end in July. He will be accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind. The president will be welcomed to Mathura by UP Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath.

Preparations have begun in Mathura and Vrindavan for the president’s visit. The Agra Police and other intelligence machinery have been alerted to ensure that nothing untoward happens during his visit.

Mathura’s District Magistrate (DM) Navneet Singh Chahal on Thursday conducted inspections of the sites where the president is expected to visit. Chahal said the administration has not yet received a confirmed program for the president’s visit, but preparations have started nonetheless.

The Additional Director General (ADG) of Agra zone, Rajeev Krishna is overseeing the security arrangements in Mathura. He said the Agra zone is completely peaceful now and the presidential visit will conclude without any disturbances.
